 The Spice
Garden and Fruit orchard at Ancestral Goa, has the entire - refreshing range of spices, vegetables and fruits that are to be found
in Goa. The plants
here are watered via canals by the old method that incorporated the
principle of using counterweights, the waste water from the restaurant
is also recycled and used for irrigation at the spice and fruit garden. Use of
chemical fertilizers and pesticides is completely avoided here in
keeping with the eco-friendly nature of the project. All plants are
nourished with organic manure and by the process of mulching. |
